How we score

2026 season, updated 4 Sep 2026

This table is kept by people who work in sport's digital products and are tired of watching clubs sign campaign agencies to build software.

Points are awarded on the four published columns, with shipped fan-facing product weighted heaviest, and every name is labeled agency, consultancy or platform because those are three different contracts with three different prices. Evidence comes from public rosters, published research and announcements. The table-setters have crossed paths with names listed here - that is exactly why the scoring is published and every claim links to its source.

The table is rechecked monthly; the date at the top moves only when something on the pitch actually changed.

How the table reaches ten

Editors issue one overall number after checking the four point-winning columns. Live fan-facing products lead the decision. Supporter votes and customer-review averages are excluded.
